Welcome!
The Collision Repair Technology program is designed to train future technicians and prepare students with entry level skills that equip them to succeed in the workforce and college.
Students are taught using online curriculum, classroom lectures, hands-on experiencs and industry visits.
The Instructor is an ASE Master Certified Technician, Platinum level paint technician and the program is NATEF accredited.
About the Instructor(s)
The Collision Repair Technology program is taught by Marc Chapman. Mr. Chapman is an ASE Master Certified technician and annually receives a minimum of 20 hours per year of technical update training which ensures that he stays current with the ever changing collision repair industry. Mr. Chapman also holds an associate degree from OSUIT/Okmulgee and a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. Mr. Chapman has been working in the collision repair industry since 1989 and has been instructing students at Gordon Cooper Technolgy Center since 1999.
The math components are taught by Marie Moery. Mrs. Moery is a certified math instructor and co-teacher. Mrs. Moery visits the classroom/lab area weekly and incorporates all of the math components into the program curriculum. She also uses online instructional format as well as hands on experience.

I-CAR
Students will use this site for their online classes. These classes are available anywhere that an internet connections exists. Students can earn up to 17 certifications along with a platinum level. This is the same site that will be used for the rest of their life if they stay in the collision repair industry. All technicians must attend classes every year through I-CAR certified classes. Each course is assigned a point value.

Quia
Students will use this test site for all of their written tests, pop quizes and final exams. These tests are available anywhere that an internet connections exists. They maybe taken on computers, tablets and cell phones. Each time the test is opened it populates a new question order along with a different set of answers . This eliminates students being able to cheat off of each other and ensures that students are completing their own work.
Each attempt is recorded with a time, duration and date stamp for accurate records and accountability.​
